Denis Taschuk, CA President & CEO, Director

Mr. Taschuk has over twenty five years business experience including corporate strategy development, manufacturing, market development and finance. Prior to Radient, Mr. Taschuk was a partner and CEO of JAG Flocomponents LP.

JAG Flocomponents LP manufactured industrial valves with operations in six countries and customers in over twenty countries.

During his time with JAG Flocomponents, he oversaw the expansion of the Company into international markets.

Mr. Taschuk is also a Director of Tyhee Gold Corp. (TDC: TSX.V) and was previously a Director of the International Diabetes Federation and a Director and Chair of the Board of the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Mr. Taschuk is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta.

Steven Splinter, PhD Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Splinter was the founding President of Radient. He is experienced in strategic planning, technical assessment and development of process technologies, business leadership, and engineering project management. Prior to founding Radient, Dr. Splinter served as Director of Chemical & Environmental Processes at BC Research, where he built and managed a team of scientists, engineers and technologists providing contract R&D; services to various clients in the area of chemical and biochemical process development. Dr. Splinter is an expert in interfacial phenomena, having earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Science in 1994. He has authored or co-authored numerous scientific publications and patents and has been invited as a speaker at international science conferences. In 2003, Dr. Splinter was awarded a prestigious 5NR Science Award for Leadership in Sustainable Development for his work in advancing MAP(TM).

Stéphane Gagné, MSc Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Stéphane has over 15 years of experience in the fields of cosmetics, nutritional supplements, pharmaceutical products and active ingredients. He previously held the position of VP Sales and Marketing (Asia) and Director Sales and Marketing (Nutrition) for Atrium Biotechnologies and was the Director Sales and Marketing for Aeterna-Zentaris

Prakash Hariharan, MBA Chief Financial Officer

Formerly one of Canada’s leading portfolio managers when he was at Front Street Capital focusing on technology and growth related investments. Prakash also spent time at Dominion Bond Rating Services, analyzing and rating structured investment products. He holds a Financial Engineering degree from York University, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, and an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering.

Milo Fisher, CET, MBA Operations Manager

Milo Fisher has over 15 years of experience in the biotechnology industry including production of commercial active pharmaceutical ingredients, scale-up, technology transfer and contract manufacturing. He is well versed in scheduling and overseeing all manufacturing operations under full cGMP as well as ensuring that all manufacturing staff are fully trained to operate unit equipment under GMP guidelines. Additionally, he provides solid leadership to materials management and related manufacturing support operations. He held positions with Apotex Fermentation, SYNSORB Biotech Inc. KS Avicenna and QSV Biologics Ltd. Currently, Milo is overseeing the construction and fit-up of the new ingredient manufacturing facility capable of processing 5 tons of material under ISO and GMP.

Tomasz Popek, PhD Product and Process Development Manager

Tomasz has over 15 years of experience from pharmaceutical and medical devices industry.

His interdisciplinary experience spanning areas of drug design, formulation and analytical development, development and technology transfer of manufacturing processes, cross-functional project management and process risk analysis.

He began his career at Viscoplast S.A. (currently 3M Viscoplast SA) as Specialist in Technology & Development Department, carried out a preclinical drug discovery and development in Canadian Government Laboratories and prior to his position at Radient he held senior scientific position in Supratek Pharma Inc. Tomasz graduated from University of Wroclaw, with PhD in Organic Chemistry.

Mike Cabigon Chief Operating Officer and Director

Mike has over ten years of senior management experience including P&L; responsibility for businesses generating from $40 million to $300 million in annual revenue. Prior to Radient, Mike was Vice President and General Manager in a private equity-backed business which ultimately sold for over $750,000,000, generating a significant return for shareholders. Most recently, Mike was Managing Partner of Foundation Equity, an Edmonton-based venture capital firm. Mike holds a B.Comm from the University of Alberta.

Dave Rohachuk VP of Operations and Engineering

Dave has more than 30 years of engineering and plant operations experience across a number of industries including, biotech, chemicals, explosives. He has led the operations of large scale chemical facilities that generated $500MM per year in sales.

Dave has also provided technical and business support for the commercialization of start-up companies and has led new product and business development activities. He brings a wealth of experience to Radient in strategy development and implementation through his many roles at the domestic as well as global levels.

Dave has a BSc. in Chemical Engineering.

Christine O’Neil-Nanquette Senior Vice President Corporate Development

Christine has held significant business development and senior executive positions in the health and wellness industry for the past 25 years, for firms such as Johnson & Johnson, BASF/Cognis, Hoechst/Nutrinova, DSM/Tosoh, Chromocell Corporation, Ajinomoto and Dow Chemical. In these roles she has had responsibility for managing organizations and developing new businesses while negotiating significant contracts with global firms such as: The Coca-Cola Company, Nestle, Kellogg, Herbalife, General Mills, PepsiCo, DPSG, Wrigley/MARS, Danone, Unilever and many other leading firms in health and nutrition, biotechnology field, pharmaceutical and specialty ingredient market. Christine was also on the core team at Johnson & Johnson which designed, implemented and executed the successful launch of Splenda® brand sweetener into the marketplace which became a billion-dollar brand in the 3rd year of launch and captured 60% market share in the first year.

Christine, through her consulting company Healthy Ingredient Solutions, is responsible for the global sales and marketing and business development activities for firms in the nutritional, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty ingredient and health and wellness ingredient markets.

Frank Ferlaino CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Frank is a retired executive from the cosmetic and personal care industry. Frank spent 28 years with the L’Oreal group starting in 1977 and had various roles during that time. He began his L’Oreal career overseeing sales for the Consumer Products Division of L’Oreal Canada. He then worked his way to General Manager of the Division then ultimately to CEO of L’Oreal Canada in 1996.

During his tenure as CEO, he oversaw the acquisition/introduction of a number of new brands and restructured certain manufacturing activities. During his time, L’Oreal Canada became the leader in the Canadian cosmetic industry and was one of the most profitable groups in L’Oreal. In late 2000, Frank accepted the role of President of L’Oreal Brazil with a clear mission to accelerate growth through internal and external activities. During his 4 years in Brazil, L’Oreal Brazil became a high profile subsidiary of the L’Oreal Group due to new brand launches, including La Roche, Vichy and Garnier and expanded manufacturing activities.

Prior to his time with the L’Oreal group, from 1975-1977 Frank was the Chief Financial Officer for Vanier UniverselleLtee., a private Canadian cosmetic company. Prior to his time at Vanier, he was a Corporate Credit officer for the Bank of Nova Scotia. Frank holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Montreal and a MBA from the Bordeaux Ecole de Management. Currently, Frank and his wife own and operate an award winning winery in Italy.

Dimitris Tzanis Director

Dimitris is Founder of Into The Wild Concepts agency, based in Zurich, Switzerland, that provides concepts bringing charities and business together including business startups and charity awareness campaigns. He has over twenty years of experience in conceiving, developing and promoting ideas and insights.Through his time in London, New York, Athens and Zurich he has provided his services as a film and TV director for large events for 20 years, 15 years of which were as Broadcast Director for ERT (National Greek Television). His projects include work done for the BBC, Chinese Central Television, IAAF World Championships, UNICEF, Athens 2004 Olympic Games, Eurovision, FIFA, political campaigns, documentaries and corporate videos.

Dimitris holds a Masters Degree in Film Direction from New York University-The Tisch School of the Arts and a BA in Film Direction from the School of Cinematography and Television from Lykourgou Stavrakou.

Jith Veeravalli Director

Jith is a successful entrepreneur and over the past 35 years has operated businesses in numerous countries. As Chairman of Gencor Pacific Limited (“Gencor”), a private life sciences product development company, based in California and Hong Kong, he has been instrumental in its rise to prominence among the nutraceutical companies worldwide. Armand Lavoie Director

Mr. Lavoie is Managing Director of Foragen Technologies Management Inc. Based in Saskatoon, he is responsible for the management of the fund, evaluating and managing investments in companies developing and commercializing advanced agri-food technologies. Prior to joining Foragen, he was with KPMG, a global consultancy firm, specializing in their life sciences practice area. In his role with KPMG, he consulted extensively with agri-life science companies in their start-up, early commercialization and growth phases. Additionally, Mr. Lavoie consulted directly to several of the global agri-life science corporations on critical strategic and operational issues. Mr. Lavoie specializes in bio-processing, nutraceuticals and functional foods. His development expertise includes business plans, performance improvement programs, business transformation models, market assessments, strategic alliances and operational reviews. Mr. Lavoie holds a B. Sc. from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Sherbrooke/London Business School and he is a P. Ag. Mr. Lavoie has lived and worked in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Mexico.

Steve Dauphin Director

Steve co-founded Bonaventure Capital, an Alabama-based private equity firm, in 1998 and directs all private market activities for the firm.

From 1994 to 1998, Steve worked as a Director and a Managing Director of the Harbinger Group. From 1991 to 1994, he worked as a special agent with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in Phoenix. From 1990 to 1991, he worked as an Anglican Lay Minister in Newfoundland, Canada. Prior to that, Steve worked as an associate with Citicorp.

Steve graduated from Harvard with B.A. in economics and religion, and from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an MBA. Steve serves on the Board of Advisors of the Hunger Solutions Institute. He also co-founded the Food Security Group and the Kirchner Food Fellowship program.

Harry Kaura Director

Harry has over twenty years’ experience in various fields such as engineering, real estate, construction and operations. Harry worked as an engineer in training at JMP Manufacturing in India, and moved to Canada in 1992. He held various positions with Inventronics Ltd. over the couse of 5 years. In April 1997, Harry founded Amnor Ltd., the operations of which include the manufacturing and powder coating of electrical, telecommunications, and electronic enclosures and chassis. Since 2002, his interests have expanded to include real estate acquisition and construction, which are conducted by Amnor Group Inc., structural steel manufacturing, in-house general contracting and excavation. Collectively, the Amnor Group of companies employs 40 people. Harry holds a Bachelor in Engineering from Gulbarga University in India.
