Mr. Ferlaino spent 28 years with the L’Oreal group starting in 1977, where he began by overseeing sales for the Consumer Products Division of L’Oreal Canada before working his way up to General Manager of the Division, and ultimately becoming CEO of L’Oreal Canada. During his tenure as CEO, he oversaw the acquisition/introduction of a number of new brands and restructured certain manufacturing activities. During this time, L’Oreal Canada became the leader in the Canadian cosmetic industry and was one of the most profitable groups in L’Oreal. In late 2000, Frank accepted the role of President of L’Oreal Brazil with a clear mission to accelerate growth through internal and external activities. During his 4 years in Brazil, L’Oreal Brazil became a high profile subsidiary of the L’Oreal Group due to new brand launches, including La Roche, Vichy and Garnier, and expanded manufacturing activities. Prior to his time with the L’Oreal group, Mr. Ferlaino was the CFO for Vanier Universelle Ltee., a private Canadian cosmetic company. Prior to this he was a Corporate Credit officer for the Bank of Nova Scotia.

Mr. Ferlaino holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Montreal and an MBA from the Bordeaux Ecole de Management. Currently, Frank and his wife own and operate an award winning winery in Italy.

Mr. Kaura has more than 20 years' experience in various fields such as engineering, real estate, construction and operations. He worked as an engineer in training at JMP Manufacturing in India before moving to Canada in 1992, where he held various high level positions at Inventronics Ltd. over the course of 5 years. In April 1997, Mr. Kaura founded Amnor Ltd., the operations of which include the manufacturing and powder coating of electrical, telecommunications, and electronic enclosures and chassis.

Since 2002, Mr. Kaura’s interests have expanded to include real estate acquisition and construction, including structural steel manufacturing, in-house general contracting and excavation, which are conducted by Amnor Group Inc. Collectively the Amnor Group of companies employs 40 people. Mr. Kaura holds a Bachelor in Engineering from Gulbarga University in India.

Dr. Splinter was the founding President of Radient. He is experienced in strategic planning, technical assessment and development of process technologies, business leadership, and engineering project management. Prior to founding Radient, Dr. Splinter served as Director of Chemical & Environmental Processes at BC Research, where he built and managed a team of scientists, engineers and technologists providing contract R&D services to various clients in the area of chemical and biochemical process development.

Dr. Splinter is an expert in interfacial phenomena, having earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Science in 1994. He has authored or co-authored numerous scientific publications and patents and has been invited as a speaker at international science conferences. In 2003, Dr. Splinter was awarded a prestigious 5NR Science Award for Leadership in Sustainable Development for his work in advancing MAP™.

Mr. Petzel is a Managing Partner of Eldon Capital, an investment and advisory firm focused on international growth investments and buy-out opportunities. Prior to launching Eldon, he was a Managing Director in the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs, where he was ultimately responsible for private credit in Germany and Scandinavia. While at Goldman he served on the board of several successful companies including Cognis GmbH, a worldwide supplier of specialty chemicals and nutritional ingredients until its sale to BASF for €3.1bn in 2010. Mr. Petzel began his career as a consultant to the technology sector for McKinsey & Company, where he worked in the United States, Europe and Asia.

Mr. Petzel holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master of Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, and was a Visiting Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ms. Lafrenière is the President & Chief Executive Officer of JFL International Inc., a management consulting firm. She is a retired partner of KPMG where she led the Compliance, Infrastructure Advisory and International Development Assistance Services of their Ottawa office. With more than 35 years of audit and consulting experience, she has served as an advisor to a broad spectrum of public and private companies, non-profit organizations, government departments and agencies, crown corporations and United Nations agencies.

Throughout her career, she has actively championed for the empowerment of women and the protection of children, as well as supporting education. She is the author of 12 business management courses and two self-empowerment books, and has served as a Director on several Boards. Ms. Lafrenière is also a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for her significant contribution to the community in Canada and abroad.

 

Mr. Gougoux has spent more than 40 years in the field of advertising and marketing. After presiding over several national advertising agencies in Canada, in 1984 Mr. Gougoux acquired BCP, the first French Canadian advertising agency in Montreal. In 1996 BCP entered into a partnership with international advertising agency Publicis Groupe, resulting in the launch of Publicis in Canada, with locations in Toronto and Montreal. Mr. Gougoux was made CEO of Publicis Canada and under his guidance the agency proceeded with acquisitions in Toronto and Montreal, quickly becoming one of the leading advertising agencies in Canada. In 1998 Mr. Gougoux moved to Paris to preside over Publicis Conseil, the Paris office of Publicis, while remaining the CEO for Publicis Canada. After moving back to Canada in 2000, he sold his 30% stake of Publicis Canada to Publicis Groupe in 2013, and became Chairman of the Board of Publicis Canada in 2015. He currently serves as non-executive Chairman.

Mr. Gougoux is also on the Board of Directors of the Mira Foundation, a non-profit organization that trains and supplies service dogs to blind and handicapped persons as well as children with autism. He completed his business studies at Concordia University in Montréal.

Formerly one of Canada's leading portfolio managers when he was at Front Street Capital focusing on technology and growth related investments, Mr. Hariharan was previously at Dominion Bond Rating Services, analyzing and rating structured investment products. He is also the founder and CEO of AI Company AnalytixInsight (TSX-V: ALY).

Mr Hariharan holds a Financial Engineering degree from York University, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, and an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering.

Mr. Rohachuk has more than 30 years of engineering and plants operations experience in multiple industries including biotechnology, chemicals, and explosives. He previously lead the operations team a multinational company that generated $500 M in sales.

In addition, he has provided his expertise in corporate strategy, product development, and business development to companies in various stages of growth both domestically and internationally. Mr. Rohachuk holds BSc. in Chemical Engineering.

Mr. Aigner brings to Radient more than 30 years’ experience in the design, construction, and optimization of pharmaceutical and manufacturing facilities, including 10 years as Operational Excellence Manager with Sandoz GmbH in Kundl, Austria. He has successfully completed more than 30 projects in 20 countries, including the design, build-out and management of Teva Biotech GmbH’s new biotech facility in Ulm, Germany; Kathrein Mobilecom’s manufacturing facility in Tlaxcala, Mexico; and YTONG AAC’s semi-automated manufacturing plants in the USA, Russia, Hong Kong, and South Korea.

Mr. Aigner holds an MBA (Post Graduate Management) from WU Executive University Vienna, and received his designation as a Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology Engineer from the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs in Vienna, Austria.
