Mr. Ferlaino spent 28 years with the L’Oreal group starting in 1977, where he began by overseeing sales for the Consumer Products Division of L’Oreal Canada before working his way up to General Manager of the Division, and ultimately becoming CEO of L’Oreal Canada. During his tenure as CEO, he oversaw the acquisition/introduction of a number of new brands and restructured certain manufacturing activities. During this time, L’Oreal Canada became the leader in the Canadian cosmetic industry and was one of the most profitable groups in L’Oreal. In late 2000, Frank accepted the role of President of L’Oreal Brazil with a clear mission to accelerate growth through internal and external activities. During his 4 years in Brazil, L’Oreal Brazil became a high profile subsidiary of the L’Oreal Group due to new brand launches, including La Roche, Vichy and Garnier, and expanded manufacturing activities. Prior to his time with the L’Oreal group, Mr. Ferlaino was the CFO for Vanier Universelle Ltee., a private Canadian cosmetic company. Prior to this he was a Corporate Credit officer for the Bank of Nova Scotia.

Mr. Ferlaino holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Montreal and an MBA from the Bordeaux Ecole de Management. Currently, Frank and his wife own and operate an award winning winery in Italy.

Mr. Taschuk has 30+ years of business experience including corporate strategy development, manufacturing, market development and finance. Prior to Radient, Mr. Taschuk was a partner and CEO of JAG Flocomponents LP, a manufacturer of industrial valves with operations in six countries and customers in over twenty countries.

During his time with JAG Flocomponents, he oversaw the expansion of the Company into international markets.

Mr. Taschuk is also a Director of Tyhee Gold Corp. (TDC: TSX.V) and was previously a Director of the International Diabetes Federation and a Director and Chair of the Board of the Canadian Diabetes Association. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta.

Mr. Cabigon has more than ten years of senior management experience including P&L responsibility for businesses generating from $40 million to $300 million in annual revenue.

Prior to Radient, Mr. Cabigon was the Vice President and General Manager of a private equity-backed business that ultimately sold for over $750M, generating a significant return for shareholders. He was also previously Managing Partner of Foundation Equity, an Edmonton-based venture capital firm. Mr. Cabigon holds a B.Comm from the University of Alberta.

Dr. Splinter was the founding President of Radient. He is experienced in strategic planning, technical assessment and development of process technologies, business leadership, and engineering project management. Prior to founding Radient, Dr. Splinter served as Director of Chemical & Environmental Processes at BC Research, where he built and managed a team of scientists, engineers and technologists providing contract R&D services to various clients in the area of chemical and biochemical process development.

Dr. Splinter is an expert in interfacial phenomena, having earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Science in 1994. He has authored or co-authored numerous scientific publications and patents and has been invited as a speaker at international science conferences. In 2003, Dr. Splinter was awarded a prestigious 5NR Science Award for Leadership in Sustainable Development for his work in advancing MAP™.

Mr. Petzel is a Managing Partner of Eldon Capital, an investment and advisory firm focused on international growth investments and buy-out opportunities. Prior to launching Eldon, he was a Managing Director in the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs, where he was ultimately responsible for private credit in Germany and Scandinavia. While at Goldman he served on the board of several successful companies including Cognis GmbH, a worldwide supplier of specialty chemicals and nutritional ingredients until its sale to BASF for €3.1bn in 2010. Mr. Petzel began his career as a consultant to the technology sector for McKinsey & Company, where he worked in the United States, Europe and Asia.

Mr. Petzel holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master of Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, and was a Visiting Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mr. Kaura has more than 20 years' experience in various fields such as engineering, real estate, construction and operations. He worked as an engineer in training at JMP Manufacturing in India before moving to Canada in 1992, where he held various high level positions at Inventronics Ltd. over the course of 5 years. In April 1997, Mr. Kaura founded Amnor Ltd., the operations of which include the manufacturing and powder coating of electrical, telecommunications, and electronic enclosures and chassis.

Since 2002, Mr. Kaura’s interests have expanded to include real estate acquisition and construction, including structural steel manufacturing, in-house general contracting and excavation, which are conducted by Amnor Group Inc. Collectively the Amnor Group of companies employs 40 people. Mr. Kaura holds a Bachelor in Engineering from Gulbarga University in India.

Mr Tzanis is the Founder of ITW-Global, a concept agency based in Zurich, Switzerland, which provides innovative creative services and communications consultancy combined with philanthropic causes. He has more than 25 years of experience in conceiving, developing and promoting big-idea communications strategies. Through his time in London, New York, Athens and Zurich he has provided his services as a film and TV director for large events for 20 years, 15 years of which were spent as Broadcast Director for ERT (National Greek Television). Mr. Tzanis' projects include work done for the BBC, Chinese Central Television, IAAF World Championships, UNICEF, Athens 2004 Olympic Games, Eurovision, FIFA, politica campaigns, documentaries and corporate videos.  

He holds a Masters Degree in Film Direction from New York University - The Tisch School of the Arts, and a BA in Film Direction from the School of Cinematography and Television at Lykourgou Stavrakou.

Mr. Cleiren is Chief Operational Officer of Aurora Cannabis, where he is responsible for integration of domestic and international acquisitions, assessing future opportunities, balancing growth and protection of shareholder value, and achieving operational efficiencies.

He has nearly three decades of leadership experience in finance and operations management with both privately and publicly held companies in a wide range of sectors. Prior to Aurora, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Universal Rail Systems, where, during his tenure, annual revenues tripled to $300 million. His marketing and direction through sale of the company to a new ownership resulted in the transaction being awarded the private equity deal of the year by Canada’s Venture Capital & Private Equity Association. Additionally he has served on the Board of Directors of Hempco Food and Fiber, Universal Rail Systems and Metalogic Inspection Services, and as Chair of the Board for the Automobile Insurance Rate Board.

He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds an ICD.D designation through the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Formerly one of Canada's leading portfolio managers when he was at Front Street Capital focusing on technology and growth related investments, Mr. Hariharan was previously at Dominion Bond Rating Services, analyzing and rating structured investment products. He is also the founder and CEO of AI Company AnalytixInsight (TSX-V: ALY).

Mr Hariharan holds a Financial Engineering degree from York University, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, and an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering.

Mrs. O’Neil has more than 25 years’ experience in nutritional, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty ingredient and health and wellness ingredient markets.

She is Chief Executive Officer at Healthy Ingredient Solutions, LLC, and prior to launching HISCO she held significant business development and senior executive positions in the health and wellness industry for firms such as Johnson & Johnson, BASF/Cognis, Hoechst/Nutrinova, DSM/Tosoh, Chromocell Corporation, Ajinomoto and Dow Chemical. Mrs. O'Neil has overseen the successul management of organizations and developed new businesses while negotiating significant contracts with global firms such as The Coca-Cola Company; Nestle; Kellogg; Herbalife; General Mills; PepsiCo; DPSG; Wrigley/MARS; Danone; Unilever, and many other leading firms.

Mrs. O'Neil was also on the core team at Johnson & Johnson which designed, implemented and executed the successful launch of Splenda® brand sweetener into the marketplace which became a billion-dollar brand in the 3rd year of launch and captured 60% market share in the first year. She also ran the Cognis Health and Nutrition North American Sales Business Unit during the successful integration into BASF during the global acquisition in 2010.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a Minor in Marketing from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She is married, has 4 sons and is currently living in Paris, France.

Mr. Popek has more than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries. His interdisciplinary experience spans drug design, formulation and analytical development, as well as the development and technology transfer of manufacturing processes, cross-functional project management, and process risk analysis.

Mr. Popek began his career at Viscoplast S.A. (currently 3M Viscoplast SA) as a Specialist in the Technology & Development Department, where he carried out a preclinical drug discovery and development in Canadian Government Laboratories. Prior to his position at Radient, Mr. Popek held a senior scientific position at Supratek Pharma Inc. Tomasz graduated from the University of Wroclaw with PhD in Organic Chemistry.

Mr. Rohachuk has more than 30 years of engineering and plants operations experience in multiple industries including biotechnology, chemicals, and explosives. He previously lead the operations team a multinational company that generated $500 M in sales.

In addition, he has provided his expertise in corporate strategy, product development, and business development to companies in various stages of growth both domestically and internationally. Mr. Rohachuk holds BSc. in Chemical Engineering.

Dr. Radoiu has more than 15 years of professional experience in various countries (Romania, Canada, the UK and France) specializing in the development of microwave-assisted technologies with applications to chemical synthesis, biomass extraction, plasma, and food. Her work has included the engineering and development of novel industrial and scientific standard and custom products, such as Zenith Etch and Sirius6000 (microwave plasma reactors for semiconductor gas cleaning), laboratory equipment such as MiniFlow 200 and Minilabotron 2000. 

Dr. Radoiu is a fellow member of several professional associations, including the Association for Microwave Power, Education and Research in Europe (AMPERE).

She is a Chartered Chemist (CChem) and a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC). She received a Ph.D. in Technological Organic Chemistry from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest in 1998 and an Executive MBA from the Ecole de Management Lyon (EM Lyon) in 2017.

Mr. Aigner brings to Radient more than 30 years’ experience in the design, construction, and optimization of pharmaceutical and manufacturing facilities, including 10 years as Operational Excellence Manager with Sandoz GmbH in Kundl, Austria. He has successfully completed more than 30 projects in 20 countries, including the design, build-out and management of Teva Biotech GmbH’s new biotech facility in Ulm, Germany; Kathrein Mobilecom’s manufacturing facility in Tlaxcala, Mexico; and YTONG AAC’s semi-automated manufacturing plants in the USA, Russia, Hong Kong, and South Korea.

Mr. Aigner holds an MBA (Post Graduate Management) from WU Executive University Vienna, and received his designation as a Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology Engineer from the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs in Vienna, Austria.
