Environmental Benefits

Radient offers demonstrable environmental benefits as compared to existing extraction technologies. The development and patenting of the commercial extraction capabilities of MAP™ were originally undertaken by Environment Canada because of the inherent environmental advantages it offered as compared to the then current state-of-the-art extraction alternatives. Environmental sustainability and preservation through the use of MAP™ is achieved by reducing energy usage and hence Greenhouse Gases and Criteria Air Contaminants emissions and by reducing or eliminating volatile organic carbon and toxic solvent emissions.

These environmental benefits are becoming increasingly more important as global warming, carbon and emission taxes and solvent prohibitions become more prominent commercial, political and cultural issues in Europe and North America.
