Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

Radient is seeking a part-time (50%) Bookkeeper for our Vancouver head office.

Job description:

• Keeps records of financial transactions: Verifies, allocates, and posts details of business transactions to accounts in QuickBooks
• Reconciles and balances accounts.
• Compile reports to show statistics including accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business.
• Employee payroll
• Prepare monthly financial statements.
• Maintain information for preparation of SR&ED tax credits
• Special projects: preparing forecasts, developing models to prepare financial information, identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, implement improvements.

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

Radient is seeking an enthusiastic and competent Research Associate to join our product development team in the field of microwave-assisted extractions.The Research Associate would support Radient's Senior Chemist in small-scale purification and isolation of compounds from natural products.

Requirements include BSc Organic Chemistry, Natural Products Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or an appropriate analytical chemistry related program. Industry experience purifying and isolating natural products is desirable but not necessary. Experience and knowledge of HPLC, LC/MS, and GC/MS is an asset.
